America I AM: The African American Imprint

Visit Cincinnati Museum Center’s newest exhibit, America I AM: The African American Imprint, proudly sponsored by Walmart and with educational partner, Northern Trust. This exhibition traces the indelible imprint African Americans have made on America and celebrates more than five centuries of American history through artifacts, documents, multimedia, photos and music, and addresses four core themes. Learn about the incredible contributions African Americans have made economically, socio-politically, culturally, and spiritually as you travel through twelve unique galleries. Families can engage with more than 250 artifacts. Every artifact has a story, its own personal journey that represents a piece of American history, and will provide families with an experience they will remember for years to come.
America I AM: The African American Imprint is developed in partnership with Tavis Smiley, and is organized by Cincinnati Museum Center and Arts and Exhibitions International (AEI).
