Are you ready for some football? Coming February 5th is America’s number one party occasion – the Super Bowl. No matter your team, if you’re a football fan, you and your friends and loved ones are probably tuning in to the Big Game. So why not party it up while you do? Here are some tips to make your day super fun!

Be sure to have something to eat that everyone can enjoy like some delish pizza from Papa John’s. Check out our Papa John’s local coupons for some great deals! It’s a good idea to have some appetizers on hand for your guests to munch on throughout the party and while waiting for other fans to arrive – think easy to eat while standing around the TV – crackers and cheese, veggies and dip, chips and guac, etc. Desserts should be similar. Cookies, bars, cupcakes and fudge are all yummy treats that can be eaten without plates and utensils. Or for a really authentic game-time experience, get one of those coolers with the little spouts – you know, the ones that players dump on the coach after winning the game – and fill it with lemon-lime sports drink. It’s probably also a good idea to have water on hand, and if there are kids attending, then have a pitcher of lemonade or juice, too.

Want to take the fun to the next level? Buy crepe paper streamers and helium balloons in the final teams’ colors and trick out your living room.

Obviously, the point of the party is to watch the game, so make sure you’ve got plenty of seating around the TV and that the volume and channel are set. Then all you have to do once people arrive is turn it on! If you have more than one TV in the house, have them all set to the same channel so your guests can keep up with the game wherever they go.
