So as my son approaches his first birthday, I thought it would beneficial to share what my favorite baby products were. I know when I first entered the baby section of any store, it was completely overwhelming. There are so many options from what type of toys you can buy to the 20-something different types of pacifiers available. With that said, here are my top ten favorite things that helped me survive the first year.
Carters Clothing
Because I do quite a bit of shopping at Once Upon a Child, I have tried a lot of different brands of clothing, but none of the other brands seem to do justice to Carter. Their clothing is pretty true to size, comfy and it holds up well.
I bought the outfit shown above over the weekend and for $9.99. You can't beat the price for a 3-piece set!
The Boppy Pillow
Although we only used this for a short phase, when we used it, we USED it. It was nice to be able to prop baby M up when he was still really small. We would also have him sit on the couch and surround him with the Boppy to support his neck and head. It also is helpful for breastfeeding moms.
Graco Pack N Play
When my son was really young, we used the Pack N Play more as a second crib but now that he's older, we use it as a play pen. It is also wonderful for traveling. It folds up to be pretty compact and worked wonderfully as a portable crib.
Baby Bather If you are a mom, you know how scary it can be to give a newborn a bath. Luckily, this little bathing chair was given to me as a gift at my baby shower and I really liked it. It fit perfectly in my sink and air dried within hours. Plus, it folds up for easy storage.
Fisher Price Healthy Care Deluxe Booster Seat
This little booster seat wasn't really of use until around the sixth month mark, but we couldn't say enough good things about it. Having a small kitchen, it eliminates the need for a big bulky high chair, can easily be cleaned and is also portable. And for around $26, it is much less expensive then the cost of your average high chair.

Drying Rack
Instead of having all the bottles lined up on the counter to dry, I have been using this drying rack. It spins, has enough room to hold 8 bottles and is compact enough that it can fit in a kitchen cabinet. So tell us, what are your favorite baby products? We'd love for you to share!

Mam pacifiers are just awesome. They are easy to clean, can be thrown in the dishwasher and can easily be attached to a pacifier clip, which brings me to my next favorite product....

Munchkin Paci Clip
During the stage where it was more entertaining to throw the pacifier than it was actually use it, this clip was a life saver.

I have had this Magic Bullet set since college, but I have never used it as much in the past 6 years as I have in the past 6 months. If you are into making your own baby food, or considering it, I would most definitely recommend the Magic Bullet. It is easy to clean, can chop or puree just about anything and as an added bonus, we use it to make things such as smoothies for ourselves.

Out of all the toys we have around the house that sing and move, this train, hands down, is a favorite. We got this train as a present, but I have seen it recently at TJ Maxx for around $8. Little M enjoys me taking the blocks off and building towers out of them, only to be knocked down.
