Can you believe it? Halloween is less than a week away and if you are looking to find some great last minute DIY ideas for parties, trick-or-treating or decor, you have come to the right place!

Ideas for Parties:

Pumpkin Beverage Holder

Turn a pumpkin into a decorative cooler! Cut a pumpkin in half, clean out the inside, fill with ice and load it up with beverages!

Marshmallow Eyeball Treats

Fill a cute little mason jar with festive Reece Pieces. Next, insert lollipop sticks into giant marshmallows. You can purchase lollipop sticks at a craft store in the cake decorating section. Next, adhere M&M's onto the marshmallows with something sticky, such as icing or caramel. With red food coloring and a toothpick, add the red lines to the marshmallows to get that bloodshot look. Tie a ribbon around the jar.

Cut black construction paper  into stripes and adhere with tape to the bottom of a black paper plate. Use other colors of construction paper cut circles for the eyes, which you can ahere with double stick tape.

Jack-O-Latern Veggie Tray

This is so adorable, healthy and a really clever idea! Make a Jack-o-lantern veggie tray by laying out carrots, dip and cucumbers on a large cutting board.

Ideas for Last-Minute Decor:

Use candy corns as decoration in glass candle holders.

Decorative Yarn Candy Corns

This would be a fun project with the kids! All you need are a few styrofoam cones, which can be found in the floral design section of most craft stores. While you are there, pick up some inexpensive yellow, orange and white yarn. Wrap the styrofoam cones with the yarn. Glue ends of yarn to keep from unraveling.

Ghostly Walkway Decor

Here is a great way to recycle your plastic milk jugs! Draw some creepy faces on the jugs with a black permanant marker after stuffing the jugs with battery operated lights. You can usually find a strand of battery operated lights at craft stores. I happened to pick up a few on Christmas clearance last year for under $.25, just a thought if you want to save this project for next year!

Tin Can Art

This is more of an adult project but can be a lot of fun! Take those tin cans you have and spray paint them various colors. Using an awl and hammer, create fun patterns on the cans then add a candle in them to illuminate your designs!

And an idea for your nails:

If you have a lot of patience and are willing to go all out with your nails for Halloween, then this creative project is for you. I am assuming this person used nail art pens to be able to get such great detail. However it was done, they are pretty awesome!
