For all the moms out there in the Cincinnati area, make sure to mark your calendars for this event, the Forever Kids Consignment Sale!  If you are in the market for buying children & baby items or you would like to free up those bins you have stashed away of outgrown clothing and unused toys by becoming a seller,  this event is for you.

Forever Kids Consignment Sale is an event that is being held semi-annually right here in the tri-state area and luckily, there is one coming up in only a few short weeks!

Okay, if you are interested in becoming a seller, (which I recommend) the last day to sign up and have your items tagged and ready to go is September 17th.

The process is simple:

  • Go through those boxes and gather up all the outgrown children clothes, toys and equipment that you'd like to see go to a good home, just make sure it is in good condition, clean and that the clothing is suited for fall or winter.

  • Next, hang, bag or assemble your items and make a list of inventory that you have so you can enter it into the Forever Kids computer system. You choose the prices & get 70% of it, which is a high consignment rate!

  • Print your tags from home and affix them to your items

  • Drop your priced and tagged items off at the sale location (location is listed below) and the rest is taken care of!

If you choose to also be a volunteer for the sale and are a seller, not only do you get an increased profit percentage but also you get to shop the Volunteer Pre-Sale, meaning you get first pick!

And if you don't have anything to sell but can't wait to shop, below are the sale dates and hours:

Wednesday September 21st
Volunteer Pre-sale 1:00pm
Consignor Pre-sale 2:00pm
New Mom Pre-Sale 3:00

Thursday September 22nd
Public Sale 9:00 am - 7:00 pm

Friday September 23rd
Public Sale 9:00 am - 7:00 pm

Saturday September 24th
Public Sale and also ½ price day
9:00 am to 4:00 pm

The sale is located on the old Red Barn Flea Market property at 299 Haskell Lane, Batavia, Ohio. 45103.

Here are directions.

Can I tell you how excited I am about this sale? Oh and by the way...if you are a new mom such as me, there is a place on the Forever Kids Consignment Sale website for you to sign up so you, as well as the volunteers and consigners, get first pick before the sale goes public! I made sure to sign up right away. I suggest you do so as well by going here.

Let me also mention that is nothing like a yard sale. All items will be reasonably priced yet they will be quality inspected before hitting the sales floor so buyers can rest assured knowing they will get top quality baby and children items.
