When chatting with some of our readers over on the cincysavers.com message boards, someone had asked me if I happened to catch the episode of the Today Show that talked about clearing out 75% of your closet. I was thinking "WHAT? 75% is a lot to get rid of!"Unfortunately I missed this episode but both curious and fascinated at the same time, I had to do some research. Contributor Jill Martin gave some great advice on the Today Show, worthy of sharing to all who happened to miss this episode as well. Here it goes!First Jill, author of "I have nothing to Wear!" said you have to admit you have a problem. Realizing that you have too much in your closet is the first step. Think of all the things that may be taking up precious room in your closet. For example:
- Items that you haven't worn in years
- Clothes from high school
- Stuff you bought just to lift your mood
- Clothing with tags still attached that you may not have even purchased this week, month or year!
