They are now just part of everyday life. These handy little things help keep clothes on, connect fabrics and are the root of countless"fly" jokes. What am I talking about? Zippers! 
Invented by Gideon Sundback in 1917, these handy little "hook-less fasteners" have come a very long way but also becoming quite fashionable at that!
We see them everywhere nowadays: on shoes, bib necklaces, handbags and even used decoratively in clothing designs. So I thought it would be neat to share some pictures to see how the ultra creative took using zippers in an unconventional way to the extreme!
