Get in on Kings Island's next record-breaking fun as they attempt to shatter the Guinnes World Records title for the Largest Human Awareness Ribbon as part of the second annual Kings Island for the Cure campaign! On Sunday, July 31, registered guests can participate in the world-record attempt. Officials from Guinness World Records will be at Kings Island to officiate.If you plan to participate, you must register in advance here and arrive at the park dressed in pink. Guests can purchase Guinnes World Record Day tickets for July 31 online for only $19 here. Season passholders may participate free of charge.The current world record was achieved when 3,952 people gathered to form a giant pink human ribbon as part of Breast Cancer Awareness month in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on October 28, 2010, taking the record from a group in Germany of 3,640 in 2007.Kings Island and Susan G. Komen have teamed up again to raise money for breast cancer awareness -- last year they raised more than $185,000! Now through August 21, Kings Island guests can support the fight against breast cancer or honor someone that has been affected by the disease.
