Did you know that you can make your own dryer sheets? They're very easy to make, will save you lots of money and are much friendlier to the environment. Even more, you probably have everything you need already in your home! What you'll need:
- Strips of absorbent fabric
- Liquid fabric softener
- Empty baby wipes container
- deep bucket or mixing bowl
- Cut your fabric into three or four inch squares. Some crafters suggest using pinking shears if you have them to prevent frayed edges.
- In the bucket mix one cup of your preferred liquid fabric softener with two cups of water.
- Soak the fabric in the liquid mixture until fully soaked through. (About 20-30 minutes. Less for thinner fabric.)
- Squeeze out excess moisture and store in the baby wipes container.
