Welcome to our new weekly feature The Best, featuring reader reviews of their favorite products and services. The Best is 100% advertising-free, honest reviews of our readers' favorite products. This week Stephanie shares one of her favorite products. So I have always kind of been obsessed with bagels. I could eat a bagel with cream cheese every day and not get sick of them. I'm not kidding. In fact, when I worked at Dunkin Donuts for two years I would eat bagels all the time. I did not eat them every single day, but almost. Then, last year one of my roommates worked at Bruegger's and would bring home an assortment of bagels weekly. I confess to eating the majority of these bagels-- my other roommates would get tired of the bagels, but I never did. Now, I know this is not a proper diet. I'm not suggesting that you take up eating a bagel a day. Too much of a good thing is definitely a bad thing. Although you need carbohydrates, fat and dairy as part of your daily nutrition, I do think that I often would have a bit too much of these particular sections of the pyramid. Fortunately for my waistline, I no longer have access to an unlimited supply of bagels. But I have found something even better than that: Bagel Brothers. Nestled on Calhoun Street between Toppers Pizza and Papa Dinos, is a little restaurant called Bagel Brothers. Although I have lived in Clifton since September 2008, I have not discovered Bagel Brothers until earlier this year. And, what a discovery it is! The bagels from Bagel Brothers are the absolute best! Whether you choose asiago, everything, pumpernickel, poppyseed or plain, the bagels are amazing. And the cream cheese that they pile onto the bagel is mouthwatering. Plus, they have interesting flavors: veggie, french onion, bacon scallion, chive, olive and strawberry to name a few. Plus, a bagel from Bagel Brothers ranges somewhere between $2.50 and $3. The low price makes me feel less guilty about buying these bagels, plus the fact that I only allow myself a bagel once per week. (Twice if I really deserve it). You have to try a bagel from Bagel Brothers! They are definitely the best! What do you think is "The Best"? Let us know in 1000 words or less.
