If you have not made it to the Kroger Cart Buster event or have plans to go back for a few more items, you are in luck! Today is the LAST DAY and this is your reminder to pack up those coupon binders, load those electronic coupons and head to Kroger before day end to get your hands on some really great deals. My mother and I made our big trip for this sale last weekend and were able to checkout with great deals and amazing savings. I am not typically a "shop with someone" kind of person. If it's not my husband/son, I shop alone. I want to get in and get out but this sale showed me that maybe it's not so bad making it an outing. I am convinced that having my mom with me allowed for both of us to get better savings. She had coupons I did not and I had coupons she did not. Swapping while shopping paid off! We also found that we each spotting things the other may not have if shopping alone. While I will admit that it took longer this way, I will add that we found greater savings with company. Our trip was a "fly by the seat of our pants" kind of trip and so when approaching the checkout with carts piled high, we were nervous. This unprepared trip could cost us. Each passing beep made the knot in my stomach grow but after coupons and store savings were deducted, I was able to take my total of $302 down to $124! I'VE STILL GOT IT! Limited time has not smothered my ability to bring home great savings and Kroger only makes it that much easier. ;) Some tips I have for you before heading out today (the FINAL DAY of the sale):
- Load electronic coupons to your Kroger Plus card.
- Print coupons to take along!
- If there is something in particular you are looking for, find out if a coupon exists to match up with the coupon database.
- Purchase your Sunday paper and clip any coupons you may need.
- Grab a buddy if you'd like to help increase your savings!
