MANUFACTURER COUPONS: Meijer accepts double manufacturer coupons with a limit of two identical coupons. This means that if you have four of the same coupon, only the first two will double. If you would like all four to double, you will need to break your order into two separate transactions or come back at another time. For the particulars, refer to Meijer’s coupon policy at the bottom of the page here.

STORE COUPONS: Meijer offers store coupons via the Meijer Mealbox, an online spot for printing great Meijer coupons. While these coupons can’t be doubled, they can be stacked with manufacturer coupons for additional savings. For example – if you’ve got a Crest toothpaste manufacturer coupon for $1 off and a Meijer Mealbox coupon for $1 off, you can stack the two and get $2 off.

o    To get these coupons, just go to the website.

o    Scroll the coupons and select “Add to List” on the coupons you’d like to print.

o    When you are ready to print, select the “Shopping List” tab.

o    Then, select “Print” on the upper right side of the box and choose the manner in which you’d like to print.

Just remember, these store coupons do not double.

PRINTABLE COUPONS: Meijer accepts printable coupons. (Please note these following printable coupon tips are not Meijer-specific). Print your coupons from reliable sources, like from the grocery coupons section of cincysavers.com. Don’t ever use coupons that pull up in Microsoft Word or a similar program. Stores do not put out coupons in this manner.

RAIN CHECKS: Meijer offers rain checks when items are out of stock (unless otherwise indicated). Get these as they are your way to making sure you get your products and your savings! This also buys you time to gather more coupons. Meijer rain checks can be obtained at the customer service desk (or at checkout) and are valid for one month from the date of issue.

OTHER STORES’ COUPONS: Meijer accepts competitor coupons. If you have a Kroger, Target or other coupon, you can use this coupon and it too can be stacked with a manufacturer coupon.

PROMOTIONS: Meijer is known for its “Buy 10 for $10, get the 11th FREE” sales. These can be great times to get many items free. Another great Meijer sales is its great half-off Lysol sale. During these sales, notice that coupons will either be coming out or getting ready to expire, which lead to fabulous prices at checkout.

MARK DOWNS: Meijer tends to mark down its meats and get them out mid-morning. This is a great way to get reduced-priced meats with savings usually ranging from 20-40 percent. Keep in mind that purchasing meat in this manner will require you to fix it soon or freeze it. My family purchased a deep freezer for things like this.
