Kroger is set to make a BIG announcement later today!  We learned late last week that they’d be making changes to their Fuel Rewards program to save customers even more money!

The old program worked like this:  any time you spent $100 in the store, you’d earn .10 a gallon in savings at the pump for each fill up.  Rewards earned in one month were valid the next month, and expired after 30 days.  You could also earn more rewards by using the Kroger Mastercard or by buying various products. While a good savings, it didn’t accumulate.  Meaning, if you spent $200 you got two .10 discounts at two fill ups.  Not .20 off a gallon at one fill up.

Now, its EVEN BETTER! If you spend $200, you’ll save .20 at the pump.  It accumulates to save you more!  Spend $300 and you’ll save .30!  No more unused or expired rewards–you can now use them all at once to save even more money!  And if you have the Kroger Mastercard, you’ll save an extra .05 just like you do now!

This is very good news.  I’ve got rewards that go unused every month–no more!

Doing a happy dance here….I love saving money on things I’m already doing!
