Returning Online Orders to Borders.comWe will refund your online purchase if you:

• Return new books, unopened CDs, DVDs, and electronics, including eReaders, in their original condition.
• Include your packing slip and completed returns form.
• Return within 30 days of the shipment date listed on your packing slip.
• Ship all returns using the pre-printed label included with the packing slip.

Note:

• Used Books, Music and DVDs may only be returned if there is a shipping error, the wrong item was shipped, or if the item is not in the condition described on the website.
• Shipping charges are not refundable.
• Gift cards are nonrefundable and are not redeemable for cash.
• eBooks are not returnable. All sales are final.
• Returns made to Borders.com within 30 days of the shipment date will be refunded in the form of the original payment method.

• You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (5 to 10 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item. 

Returning Online Orders to Your Local StoreCustomers may return items purchased online to any Borders, Borders Express, Waldenbooks, or Borders Outlet location in the United States.You will receive a return gift card equal to the value of your online purchase when you:

• Return new books, unopened CDs, DVDs, and electronics, including eReaders, in their original condition.
• Present your packing slip.
• Present items to the store within 30 days from the shipment date listed on your packing slip.

Orders returned online that were marked as gifts will be credited to the recipient in the form of a gift card; otherwise, standard (non-gift) orders returned online will be credited to the purchaser.You may also return or exchange the merchandise at any Borders, Borders Express, Waldenbooks, or Borders Outlet location in the United States.
